I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults throughout Delaware via secure telehealth.
Kerene R. Phillips-Ross, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in psychiatric nursing across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, crisis stabilization, and behavioral health settings. She is currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidate at Regis College, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026.
Kerene completed more than 900 supervised PMHNP clinical hours at For the Love of You Psychiatry, where she provided comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developed DSM-5-TR diagnostic formulations, participated in medication management, developed individualized treatment plans, and delivered patient education and follow-up care under clinical supervision.
Throughout her nursing career, she has cared for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Her background includes experience in state psychiatric hospitals, pediatric emergency behavioral health, inpatient psychiatry, and community mental health. These diverse clinical experiences have strengthened her commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
Kerene is passionate about expanding access to high-quality mental health services and partnering with patients to achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their well-being. She values collaboration, lifelong learning, and building therapeutic relationships founded on trust, respect, and empathy.
